How FoneAway Lockable Phone Pouches Work?

In simple terms, when a phone owner enters an area designated as a Mobile Phone “Restricted Use Area”, they are issued with a lockable, RFID protected mobile phone pouch, into which they slip their phone and click the lock button to seal the pouch.
The Faraday cage type RFID signal blocking pouch prevents use of the phone whilst in the locked pouch, as well as blocking and temporarily delaying any incoming calls, messages or other signals, and so eliminates any disturbance or disruption arising from the secured phone.
Mobile phone pouches are acceptable to the user, as there is no need for them to be separated from their phone, which they can carry with them in the pouch. This eliminates potential anxieties, such as how the phone may be misused while out of their control or sight, or its possible loss or theft.
When leaving the phone use restriction area, a simple tap of the pouch on a magnetic Unlocker unit, unlocks it, allowing the phone owner to retrieve their phone, and pass the pouch back for reuse by another user.
The FoneAway lockable pouch system offers a simple, low cost solution for Schools and Colleges needing to conform with the UK Government total ban on the use of mobile phones in schools.
It also delivers a simple, cost effective and practical solution to problems of phone use at other venues, as it eliminates the need to confiscate and store mobile phones (with all the issues that may raise).
This solution is acceptable to phone owners, as they never need to be physically separated from their phone, and in operation, the FoneAway Pouch system prevents the disruption or dangers arising from mobile phone use in sensitive or restricted areas.
The main components of the system include the FoneAway RFID Signal Blocking Pouch and a range of FoneAway Unlocker units to suit any venue.

FoneAway Phone Pouches are simple to use, and because they never require the phone owner to be separated from their phone, they are totally acceptable to users, whilst effectively blocking use of the phone while within designated restricted phone use areas.
